  1. Work details OPD five days a week: outpatients consists mainly of general orthopaedic cases, orthopedic trauma and arthroplasty follow-up cases, degenerative disorders like knee, hip and spine. We have three days operation theater
  2. Teaching experience: Conducted case presentations, seminars, and journal club for postgraduate students (DNB and CPS). Now HOSMAT hospital is recognized teaching hospital for DNB students, we are conducting weekly seminars, case presentations and ward rounds.
  3. Independent surgeries: Routine trauma surgeries, arthroscopic surgeries like meniscectomy, debridement, primary hip and knee replacement surgeries and revision surgeries. I have done more than 4000 joint replacement surgeries including primary, revision and computer assisted joint replacement surgeries.
  4. As a fellow I assisted all joint replacement surgeries including Primary, Computer assisted total knee Replacement surgeries. and revision, like hip, Knee, elbow , shoulder and complex Trauma Pelviacetabular fracture fixation surgeries.
  5. As a consulatant and when I was fellow, I independently operated primary Knee and hip replacement surgeries and some revision surgeries.
  6. As a consulatant and when I was fellow, I have also done computer assisted knee replacement surgery.
  7. Worked as observer for arthroscopic surgeries of knee wih Dr. Ananth Joshi for 2months and shoulder arthroscopic surgery with Dr. Sanjay Desai for 15days.

Dr Rajshekhar KT is one of the excellent doctor for those looking for Knee replacement surgery in Bangalore. My mother was suffering from knee pain for almost 10yrs and she is 56yrs old. After going through lot of feedbacks and reviews, we got to know about Dr RKT. Then we met the doctor @ Fortis hospital, Bannerghatta road and he explained about the pre & post operative procedures very well. He was very cool and open while explaining about the surgery which made my mother very comfortable about getting operated. Then after couple of months we visited again to get the surgery done and everything went smooth n organised. She started to walk few steps on the same day of surgery & within 2 weeks she was able to walk without the help of walker. I strongly recommend him for any kind of joint surgeries. Dr has now moved to Apollo hospital in Bannerghatta road.

Dr.Rajshekhar KT … Its a Name which resounds everywhere when you hear anything related to “Joint Replacement” or “Bone Treatments”. Never Seen a Doctor with Such a passion on Bone Surgeries and Bone Treatments. Literally Seen this doctor spending almost 7-8 hours per day on Surgeries, this shows his Passion towards the Bone Treatments. Doc Rajasekhar K T is being god to us. He don’t even cure my mother, he made her comfortable with right hip joint replacement surgery and prepared her to walk just after the next day of surgery. Dr Rajashekhar KT is good doctor for HIP and Knee replacements. He will treat the patients very kindly and support them in all the stages of there painful time. My mother who is aged abt 69yrs & was suffering lot of pain in both the kees from a very long time. We have consulted few docs, took many other treatments and pain was always persisted. Most of the docs suggested TKR as a solution but due to fear of surgery, pain she was always reluctant to go for surgery and pushed for many years. This time pain was almost unbearable, and we wanted to take decision to go for surgery. One of our well-wisher suggested to consult Dr. K T Rajashekar sir. Finally, we consulted Dr.KT Rajashekar sir and he analysed situation in detail and suggested taking step by step approach. But he built lot of confidence in her, explained thoroughly, made her to believe herself. My heartfelt thanks to Dr.Rajashekar sir for same. We went through both Leg TKR fast track surgery by Rajasekar sir. On the same day my mother able to walk through without/ minimal pain. Second and third day it improved significantly, and she walked few steps in the corridor without any pain.
